- All dogs must be at least four months of age.
- All dogs must be neutered or spayed unless they are under six months of age.
- All dogs must have the following vacinations in place at least three days prior to their interview taking place:
- Bordetella - within the last six months. Please keep in mind that we require 6 month Bordetella updates for all day care and boarding dogs.
- DHPP - within the last year or three years depending on your vet's practices. If your vet is of the 3 year DHPP vaccine belief, then we need proof of that along with a physical exam within the last year.
- Rabies - within the last year or three years depending on your dog's age.
- All dogs must be on a monthly flea prevention program.
- All dogs must be free of communicable diseases.
- All dogs must be properly socialized around other dogs and people.
- All dogs must have a collar, ID tags and a leash when visiting the facility and be ready to play, have fun, and make new friends.
PLEASE NOTE: Dogwood does not accept the Power Breeds: Pit Bulls, Rottweillers, Mastiffs, etc.
